教 学 目 的

本课程是一门注重打好语言基础、注重培养实际使用语言技能的课程,特别是培养学生使用英语处理日常和涉外业务活动能力的重要文化基础课。其目的是在大学一年级阶段通过语言基础训练与篇章讲解分析,使学生逐步提高语篇阅读理解能力,扩大词汇量和熟悉英语常用句型,具有一定的听、说、读、写、译的能力,为进入高年级打下扎实的专业基础,并为今后在涉外交际的日常活动和业务活动中进行简单的口头和书面交流、进一步提高英语的交际能力打下基础。
